We’ll travel north to Bedugul, passing through Mengwi & visit it’s Royal temple, Taman Ayun. We then travel over a high mountain pass, where monkeys come down from the trees in the tropical rain forest to the roadside & we will stop at the waterfalls of Gitgit. On the extreme north coast of Bali, we visit Singaraja. Lunch is at Lovina Beach at the edge of the calm waters of the South Java Sea. We return via the sulphur springs & terraced rice fields at Pupuan & the monkey forest at Kedaton. Please contact us for tour prices. |

Visit the most sacred temple in Bali, Besakih Temple, which is situated half way up the slopes of the Agung Volcano. Along the way we also visit the ancient courthouse of Kertagosa at Klungkung, a beautifully painted relic of the Balinese judicial system dating back to the 17th century. At lunchtime we stop at the terraced rice-fields of Bukit Jambul, then on to Karangasem via Putung and the ancient village of Tenganan. We then travel to Kusamba to visit a bat cave. On the way to Kintamani, we visit the village of Celuk which is famous for it’s gold & silversmiths. Then to Mas village, a centre for wood carving & Ubud, which has an international reputation for art & painting. Further north, we visit the Elephant cave at Goa Gajah. We visit the Mother Temple at Besakih, the most sacred Temple in Bali on the slopes of the Agung Volcano. We also see the spectacular views of the Kintamani volcano & it’s lake, 1700 metres above sea level. Lunch break is at Kintamani or at the terraced rice-fields at Bukit Jambul.
